Every summer, high school students from across the state of Georgia come to UGA's campuses in Athens, Tifton and Griffin to work with faculty in their labs and offices for six weeks. In 2010, the Young Scholars Internship Program students' projects included studying lasers, digestive microbials in cows for future use with biofuels, water for harmful bacteria, recent graduates' attitudes on different topics, crop monitoring using high-tech equipment and many other projects. Most students worked with faculty in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences as well as in the veterinary medicine, pharmacy and ecology. This video is a wrap-up of the summer.
