In a hotly contested championship match at Springfield College's Blake Arena, Vassar men's volleyball fell to Springfield 3-0, ending their record-breaking season with a second place finish at the Molten Division III Men's Volleyball Invitational Championships. A week earlier, Vassar won the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Championship (captured in this video), earning the bid to the Molten Final Four, where the Brewers knocked off No. 1 seed UC Santa Cruz, 3-0, in the semifinals and advanced to the championship match against host Springfield, a 3-1 victor over Juniata in the semifinals.
