Description:

The Hugh and Gena Tarbutton Performing Arts Center is the home of Oxford Theater. The $6 million dollar performance center which opened in the fall of 2001 houses rehearsal spaces, classrooms, studio arts facilities as well as the Tarbutton Theater. The Greek Revival structure of Few Hall was built in 1852 to house the Few Society, an outgrowth of the Phi Gamma literary and debating society. Refurbished and redesigned along with the construction of of Tarbutton Hall in 2001, Few now features a state-of-the-art, multimedia enhanced choir rehearsal classroom, soundproof solo instrumental practice rooms, an instrumental ensemble practice room, as well as faculty offices.
