    JINDAL PAPER ON 19th OCTOBER AT NEWDELHI

    Hello i had appeared for a jindal steel and power limited test held on 19 october in pashim vihar in new delhi ..my branch is electrical. before giving the paper i had gone through various sites and couldnt find much information related to the jindal written exams  and  the paper was like this and consisted of the following sections

    APTITUDE- 15 QUESTIONS( 15 MARKS)
    VERBAL  -20 QUESTIONS  (20 MARKS)
    REASONING-20 QUESTIONS (20 MARKS)
    DOMAIN- 60 QUESTIONS (60 MARKS)


    APTITUDE
    simple questions regarding profit and loss, percentage, ratio and proportion were there....

    VERBAL
    some questions on prepositons, articles etc and two reading comprehensions

    REASONIN G
    questions on *,+,-,/ and other were simpler ones

    DOMAIN
    the questions were mainly from dc motors, netwok theoreoms, measurements
    some of the questions were
    1. where can we not apply ohms law options were carbon resistors, vaccum diodes, high voltage circuits, low voltage circuits
    2. where can we apply the kirchoffs laws .. linear circuits, active and passive circuits these were d options
    3. application of thereoms.. about 7-8 questions were asked from these thereoms
    4. some questions related to characterstics of dc motors graph
    5. a graph was given find out the rectify the motor
    6. a question on the relation T=PZNO/60A
    7. some questions were asked from measurments like can pmmc instrument measures ac or dc or both
    8. a numerical on dynamometer in which load power was to be calculated
    9. some questions on star delta transformations like a netowrk was given in star asked to calculate the equivalent in delta
    10. if R is the resistance in delta than what will be in star formula R1=RB*RC/RA+RB+RC
    11. a direct formula question on star to delta transformaion RA=R1+R2+R1*R2/R3
