Cynthia Adi 10C, an international studies major with a minor in African studies from Houston, Texas, talks about her undergraduate research and projects at Emory involving Nicaragua (where she developed a income-generating project for youth sex workers) and Uganda (research on female parliamentarians). After graduation, she will work for the Foundation for Sustainable Development where she will be the program coordinator for a program in Masaka, Uganda, that organizes and manages individuals who intern with local organizations. Following her year in Uganda, she plans to attend law school where her focus will be on international human rights law.
