Dr. Ned Waller, of the Winship Cancer Institute (Emory University) gives an overview of bone marrow donation, which is frequently part of treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. About Emory's Program The Bone (Blood & Marrow) Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program at Emory Winship Cancer Institute is the oldest and largest program in Georgia. In the 30 years since the first Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) was performed in Georgia, the program's mission has been to provide curative therapy for patients with cancer using combinations of high dose chemotherapy with bone marrow or blood stem cell transplants. Our doctors are internationally known for research and treatment of blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. About Dr. Ned Waller Dr. Waller is Professor of Hematology-Oncology, Medicine, and Pathology at the Emory UniversitySchool of Medicine. He serves as the Director of the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Center at Emory.
