    Hi Friend's, I am Mannu Saini (B.Tech in CSE). Student of M.M.E.C Mullana Ambala.

    I have attended Aricent paper on 11th December, 2010. It was a pleasent experience. I was selected in Aricent as a Trainee Software Developer. I would like you to guide all of you to the whole process and will give you 'tips' to get selected in Aricent. It was a pool off-campus drive in Panipat (Haryana).

    Lets start with selection procedure.
    Elligibility Criteria: 75% in B.Tech/B.E.

    Written test: (Paper Pencil Based)

    4 parts (Logical Reasoning/Aptitude, mental ability, Data structure, C/C++/Java).
    Sectional cut-off is there with no negative marking.
    Logical Reasoning/Aptitude (30 questions/20-25 minutes), Data Analysis (20 questions/10 minutes), Data Structure (20 questions/25 minutes) and C/Java/C++ (30 questions/35 minutes).
    For Logical Reasoning/Aptitude be prepare very well with Set Theory, Series Completion, Odd Man out, Conclusion based question like A>B, B It was quite easy.

    For Data analysis there is no need to prepare, but be fast with this as sectional cut-off is there,
    Ex: 1235566745, 1235566754, 1235566745, which one is odd one.
    There are 5 to 6 questions as follows. + means *, * means -, / means *, find out 5+6/7*3 etc. It was quite more easy but be fast with it.

    For Data Structure be prepare with searching/ sorting, binary tree, linked list, stack, queue (circular queue, double ended queue etc.) complexity for all sorting technique, be prepare very well as it might be more difficult for non CSE students. To answer these questions think logically, 5 or 6 questions was more difficult and all others are normal, one question which I did not know, complexity of cocktail sort.

    You have to select only one language out of three. It was something difficult. My option was C, be prepare very well with array, pointer. Here question were more logically, think deeply before answer, for array and pointer follow Let us C (More than sufficient but play with every concept). To answer this section little bit good knowledge is required.
    All these question paper will be distributed individually and question paper will be collected as time is over for each section but answer sheet is common for all four section.
    Thanks to my Blessing beings, I cleared my written test and my Interview was scheduled dated on 18th December, 2010 at Gurgaon (8:30 a.m). Before interview, there was a GD round but it was not elimination round but try for the best as it plays role in final selection. My GD topic was Death penalty should be provided or not. It goes around 10 to 15 minutes.  They provided us a paper with some script  written on this like. A girl is sexually harassed about 100 times and after that murdered her, whether we should provide death penalty for such person or not, two more script were also there except this one.
    Next round was Interview and I was selected in Aricent.

    Waiting your presence at Aricent.
    Best Of Luck friends!
    All the Best!
